Come and play crazy golf at the best miniature golf course in Great Britain as voted by members of the British MiniGolf Association.
When was it formed?
Way back in 1996. It was more of a Full English Breakfast and Crazy Golf club back in the days when Sandra's cafe was at it's zenith.
It's the oldest crazy golf club in the UK. The club is affiliated to the BMGA
and its members are active in the BMGA, sometimes overly.
Does it have a Mission Statement?
It does. To continue to be the finest crazy golf club in the World.
Does it have a Code of Practice and Equity Policy Statement?
Indeed. As leaders in innovation we were the first to insist on the
application of such policies.
Does it have a motto?
It's not really a club without a motto, is it?
Veni, vidi, vici.
And our members do frequently.
Does it hold regular tournaments, such as an Open and Invitational event?
The Planet Hastings Crazy Golf Club Open is the most innovative and popular
competition on the BMGA tour and has been running since 2001.
And the Hastings Invitational Tournament since 2002.
Does it have a website?
Er, you're on it.
Is there a discount for members?
There are substantial savings to be had by joining PHCGC, on play, kit and
refreshments.
Does it have a home course?
The finest in the UK.
Does it offer coaching?
We do. We have a BMGA Approved Coach. A course for juniors has recently
finished.
Does the club regularly attend the British Club Championships?
We do, since 2002. Sometimes sending more than one team.
How many times has PHCGC won the British Club Championships?
We won the competition when it was first held. We are the most successful
club in the UK with FOUR wins.
What honours have the players in the club attained?
Every honour in the game! We have the most successful players in the
sport!!
Do you have a club ball?
We are the only club in the UK to have a club ball.
Is the club democratic?
Currently, yes. In the past we have dabbled with all sorts of government
from dictatorship to anarcho-syndicalism.
Does the club host charity and community events?
We continue to host events for good causes and the community.
Is the club friendly?
If Ace Man is not around, Yes! We have the most fun of any club in the UK,
mostly at the expense of the other clubs.
How many members does the club have?
Around 50. The largest club in the UK.
Why should you join?
Because we're the best!!
We also offer a kids club, a club competition and coaching.
Senior citizens, Clambers members, BMGA members and Children under 12: £5 to join. Adults £10. On joining the first round is free. Thereafter the cost of a round for members is £2.
Membership costs are per person and last for the whole of the 2010 season.
